SPRING CHECK-UP
• Install gauges and check operating pressures.
• Check voltage and amperage to all motors.
• Check air temperature drop across evaporator.
• Check for adequate refrigerant charge and possible leaks.
• Check evaporator superheat and condenser sub cooling.
• Check pressure switch cut-out settings.
• Check electrical lock out circuits.
• Check starting contractor contacts.
• Check all wiring and connections.
• Clean and adjust Thermostat.
• Check belt and adjust tension.
• Lubricate all moving parts.
• Check Filters.
• Check that condensate drain is open.
• Turn exposed dampers to cooling position, if marked. (No Balancing.)
FALL CHECK-UP
• Clean and adjust Thermostat.
• Clean and adjust all safety controls.
• Vacuum clean burners and controls.
• Clean and adjust pilot assembly.
• Adjust burner for efficiency.
• Check for gas leaks in furnace.
• Lubricate all moving parts.
• Check belt and adjust tension.
• Check filters.
• Check flue pipe.
• Adjust pressure regulator.
• Turn on Humidifier for the season. (Cleaning extra)
• Check that condensate drain is open.
• Turn exposed dampers to heating position, if marked. (No Balancing.) |
