- Check to see that the thermostat is set to the heating mode and temperature is turned high enough.
- Check electric switch near furnace to make sure it is in the ON position.
- If your furnace is equipped with a standing pilot, make a visual check to see if the pilot is burning. If not, follow directions on your furnace for proper lighting instructions.
- Reset the furnace by turning the thermostat to the OFF position and then back again to the heating setting.
- Furnace blower doors must be in place, as most models are equipped with door safety buttons.
- Check for dirty filters – will cause short cycling of unit.
